High Street, Hurstpierpoint Potholes
West Sussex Highways are closing the High Street tomorrow, 16th May, to repair all the potholes. As there is a bigger surface improvement scheme scheduled for the summer, they took the decision to do temporary repairs.
They will have to close the road while they undertake the work. But as they are doing temporary repairs this will mean the work will remove the safety issues and should be completed in a couple of hours, hopefully causing minimum disruption.
The scope of the repairs will not include the uneven patches, but this will be addressed by the larger scheme in the summer.
