The Woodland Flora and Fauna Group, expertly led by Michael Nailard, has started work on removing brambles and trimming trees around the pond on the junction of London Road with Berrylands Farm Road. This follows a comprehensive cut back by Glendale Services on behalf of Mid Sussex District Council who own the site. The pond is in need of some sympathetic work to bring it back into good health. The Group offered to take on the work and start with a general tidying up. The Group would welcome hearing from volunteers who would like to help and any local people who would like to be involved with the work can contact Michael on the email address below to be advised of the selected attendance days going forward. Please email: dralianmarine@aol.com or phone the Parish Council on 01273 833264 who will pass on your message.
