As part of the Lost wood project, The Woodland Trust will be carrying out some woodland restoration works within Tilley’s Copse in 2026. You may see some orange marks on some of the trees which indicates trees to be felled. These trees are mostly Sycamores and will bring more light into the wood encouraging groundcover plants to grow, bring a richer biodiversity into the woodland and allow the Oak trees more room.
