Phase 1: Cuckfield Road at junction with Western Road From 9th June for 8 weeks

SGN will be replacing the gas main on Cuckfield Road from the junction of Willow Way to Iden Hurst and Western Road from the junction with Cuckfield Road to Nursery Close. They will need to have two-way temporary traffic lights in place as they progress.

To avoid multiway lights on Cuckfield Road, they’ll be closing the southern junction of Willow Way with Cuckfield Road. Vehicle access to Willow Way will be via its northern junction with Cuckfield Road.

Phase two – Western Road, From July 28th for 2 weeks

From 28 July for 2 weeks – SGN will be replacing the gas main on Western Road at the junction of Hurst Gardens, and they will need to temporarily close the junction of Western Road to complete these works.
