Newsletter Autumn 2019

flowers in bloom

September 23, 2019

In the last newsletter we updated the community on changes we had made to the village garden. After feedback from residents we have since reviewed this and we are pleased to announce the new plans for planting:

We plan to re-plant the two borders either side of the bus shelter with a mixture of shrubs and perennial plants including Buxus, Stipa Gigantea, Rudbeckia, Verbena Borensis, Penstomen, Geranium, Alchimila Mollis and Heuchera.

This will provide a beautiful display of colour all year round. Work will also be carried out to remove the dead tree in the walled bed which will be replaced with two semi mature shrubs. In May we have budgeted to introduce four new ‘Fountain Planters’ which will be full of summer bedding plants.

We hope all these planned improvements will make a real impact on the Village Garden.
