Community Governance Review

March 1, 2022

Residents will now have received their letters from Mid Sussex District Council (MSDC) on the review of the parish council arrangements for the Hurstpierpoint, Goddards Green and Sayers Common area.  You are being asked for your views on how your local councils are best defined for the future.  The proposal is that a separate parish council should be created for Sayers Common, based on the area shown on the plan.  Our website explains all of the services currently managed by this Parish Council: www.hurstpierpoint-pc.gov.uk

Please do feed your comments back to MSDC. The best way is via: www.midsussex.gov.uk/cgr-form. Or, email your submission to: communitygovernancereviews@midsussex.gov.uk Alternatively, a reply envelope was supplied with your letter.

The closing date for responses is 15 April 2022.  Draft proposals will then be published by 3 June for a further two month consultation period till 1 August.  Final decisions will be made by 28 September 2022 and be implemented by May 2023.
