What is it?

At the St Lawrence Fair 2024, Hurstpierpoint Society launched the “Now&Then” interactive guide to Hurstpierpoint High Street.

Based around the beautiful watercolour paintings of Derek Rogers, who painted both the north and south sides of the High Street from 1986 to 1988, visitors can explore the paintings and click on specific buildings to find out more about their history as well as the current shops or businesses.

The project is intended to be ever-evolving, adapting to changes in our High Street, and includes a powerful search engine which allows visitors to search for specific goods or services.
