In response to requests, the Parish Council has agreed to ask West Sussex County Council to add extra double yellow lines opposite four junctions on the Cuckfield Road, Hurstpierpoint (see the maps below). This will help improve visibility for drivers and pedestrians at those junctions. The junctions are Chalkers Lane, Talbot Mead and Willow Way (north and south).
The Parish Council has to submit a “Traffic Regulation Order” (TRO) request to WSCC, along with evidence of local support. Please email your support to the Clerk by 27th March 2026, to: office@hurstpierpoint-pc.gov.uk
