Hurst Meadows Butterfly Monitoring Project

Hello everyone!

My name is George, I am an ecologist and a resident of Hurst and I support the Parish Council in the habitat management of Hurst Meadows.  

The project: Is being set up as part of the UK- Butterfly Monitoring Scheme, with the help of Butterfly Conservation (Sussex) and with the support of Hurstpierpoint and Sayers Common Parish Council.  Further details of the project are in the Survey Information file attached and I have more information ready to send out should you decide to join in.:

Training: I’m hoping that we will be allowed to meet outside in small groups by the end of March and so we can train together, whilst walking the routes and get to know the survey method and the butterflies.

Timing: The project has to start on 1 April and so please could you get back to me as soon as you can, so I can get organised – thank you.
