Estates and Facilities Manager
The Parish Council is looking for an experienced Estates and Facilities Manager to manage the maintenance and improvement of its land and buildings, including the Hurstpierpoint Village Centre and Court Bushes Community Hub, South Avenue Cemetery, bus shelters, public conveniences, recreation grounds with play areas, gardens, allotments, 50 acres of countryside and ancient woodland, and street lights.
This role includes procurement, contract supervision, a focus on health and safety and the line management of the Maintenance Officer.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude, proven procurement and project management skills, the ability to communicate at all levels and experience of working for a local authority or similar organisation.

Work Place: Based at Hurstpierpoint Village Centre Parish Office but required to be out and about in the parish meeting councillors, contractors and key stakeholders.
Hours: Full time (37 hours per week).
Rate of pay: Salary LC2 (Scale Points 24-28) circa £27,905 to £31,371 subject to experience.
