P24/25089 Minutes of the Planning Committee meeting held on 3rd February 2025: The committee reviewed the minutes, and it was: RESOLVED: That the Committee AGREED the Planning Committee minutes of 3rd February 2025.
P24/25090 Matters arising from the Meeting of the Planning Committee held on 3rd February 2025. It was noted that the report and explanation the tree officer provided was helpful and reassuring clarifying the process that they follow.

P24/25092 Applications – Committee decision: The Committee considered the following and made RECOMMENDATIONS to the Planning authority:
1) Hautboyes, New Way Lane, Hurstpierpoint. SDNP/25/00549/LIS Partial dismantling and reconstruction of unstable section of chimney stack.
RECOMMENDATION: The committee’s recommendation is that SDNP should give permission.
2) 115 College Lane, Hurstpierpoint. DM/25/0201 Proposed roof conversion and ground floor addition and alterations.
RECOMMENDATION: The committee’s recommendation is that MSDC should give permission.
3) 53 College Lane, Hurstpierpoint. DM/25/0236 Proposed single storey rear extension.

6) Land To The North Of Lyndon Reeds Lane, Sayers Common. DM/25/0292 Full planning application for the retention of and further works for the erection of two residential dwellings (Use Class C3) with supporting infrastructure including access, parking and landscaping.
RECOMMENDATION: The committee’s recommendation is that MSDC should give permission.
7) Land South Of Contego Safety Wearmaster House, Malthouse Lane Hurstpierpoint. DM/24/2932 Proposed variation of conditions 17 and 18 relating to planning application DM/21/1118 to allow 24 hours access to the site for 365 days a year with no exceptions and deliveries during the night. (Description of application amended on 11/02/2025).
RECOMMENDATION: The committee had no further comment.
8) Burgess Hill Burial Ground, Jane Murray Way, Burgess Hill. DM/25/0379 Variation of condition 11 of application 00/02576/FUL to allow for design changes to allow additional parking spaces and maintenance/storage yard.
