MINUTES of the meeting of the Planning Committee on Thursday 20 June 2019 at 8.00 pm in the Village Centre, Trinity Road, Hurstpierpoint.

P19/008 Minutes of the Planning Committee meetings held on 28 May 2019:    The minutes were received and accepted by the Committee and signed by the Chairman.  

RESOLVED:  The Minutes of the meeting of 28 May 2019 are adopted. 

P19/009 Matters arising from the Meeting of the Planning Committee held on 28 May 2019:  There were no matters arising.  

P19/010 Adjournment for questions from the public: The Committee agreed to adjourn the meeting in accordance with Clause 1(d) of Standing Orders to allow members of the public to speak.   

RESOLVED:  The meeting is adjourned in accordance with clause 70 of Standing Orders.

This application seeks to confirm that a meaningful and lawful start has occurred under the details approved under planning reference DM/16/4809. 

Member of the public didn’t wish to speak, was present only to answer questions. The meeting then resumed. 

P19/011.  Planning applications – Committee decision:  The Committee considered the following and make RECOMMENDATIONS to the Planning authority: 

  1. (1) Nortonbury 102 High Street Hurstpierpoint Hassocks West Sussex BN6 9PX. DM/19/1878. New windows to replace existing redundant shopfront and replacement windows at 1st floor level.   RECOMMENDATION:  Permission is granted.  
  1. (2) 2   71 College Lane Hurstpierpoint Hassocks West Sussex BN6 9AE. DM/19/1917. T1 and T2 Leylandii 

– Fell 

RECOMMENDATION:  Permission is granted
