Following contact by local residents and discussion at the last Council meeting in Sayers Common, at the meeting on Thursday night, the 26 October 2023, the Parish Council is considering applying to West Sussex County Council for a Traffic Regulation Order for:

• A 7.5 tonne weight limit on the length of Reeds Lane (except for access)
• A new post to be installed to support a speed indicator device between the 30mph sign into the village from Twineham and the Kings Business Centre

An application has already been submitted for double yellow lines at the London Road roundabout junction with Reeds Lane and for a passing place between the roundabout and the Osborn Close on the south side of the Road.
