We have been advised of some upcoming drainage works on the A23 Pyecombe northbound entry slip road and A27 eastbound exit to join the A23 northbound carriageway.

To carry out these works safely there will be overnight closures to the Pyecombe northbound entry slip and a27 eastbound exit slip to join the A23 northbound carriageway. Works will be Monday to Friday only between the hours of 8pm to 5am.

There will also be a lane one and two closure in both directions overnight on the A23 for the duration of the works.

Pyecombe northbound entry slip road

– Monday 14 July to Tuesday 5 August

A27 eastbound exit slip to join the A23 northbound carriageway

– Monday 14 July for three nights

Diversions:

Pyecombe north entry slip road closure.

Traffic to turn right and join South Downs Way and head southbound on the A23 towards A27 Patcham Interchange and turn back round to rejoin the A23.

A27 eastbound exit slip to join the A23 northbound carriageway

Traffic to continue east on A27, exit at Patcham Interchange, use the Patcham Roundabout to join the A23 northbound carriageway.
