Virtual Hurst Festival 2020

The online version of Hurst Festival brings you our usual high standard of over 60 booked events and acts via our website ( linking you to our Hurst Festival YouTube Live Channel that you can stream to your TV and straight into your home from 12th – 27th September.

The programme is looking great and we have managed to curate all of your festival favourites, but in a virtual format.
From Comedy night LIVE into your own home with bespoke performances from circuit comedians just for Hurst Festival and the return of Bingo & Disco with Boogaloo Stu, to our usual high calibre of performances with Live Music from Bojangles, Brighton Beach Boys and our New Music Night; showcases new talent from London and Sussex.
We are bringing our usual fabulous Soirees into you own homes with performances from Melismata, Leto Ensemble, Mike Reinstein, Madeline Kirby, Rachel Fryer and Gin Palace Productions with a Julia Andrews Night and a Noel Coward Night!
We invite the community to get involved as much as possible, with interactive events as diverse as Graffiti Workshops, a Local History Quiz, the Great Debate and a Nature Photography Competition.

We have plenty of Kids Entertainment with Theatre Tots, Oort Kuiper; the Science Rapper, a series of 6 WishWorks Fairytales – one each weekend day for the little ones, Gareth P Jones, and Chris Bradford with his Young Samurai for the teenagers
Music and Drama from the students at Hurst College and home performances from the students of Hurst Festival Music Club with some ‘How to’ tutorials from the workshop leaders.
Wellbeing Events include a Home Retreat Spa day with videos and tips from experts, and Cooking Tutorials from Cleanse Community and eco events from Sussex Green Living.
We are delighted to be able to exhibit our local talented artists and makers with an online Open Studios: featuring the usual array of talented local artists.

We are also offering links and special Hurst Festival deals for delivery of food and drink to people’s homes from local suppliers, helping the High Street whilst having maximum fun!
We are supporting the local creative sector with the audience also having a chance to donate direct to performers whilst watching. Our listings page is live with the events available to watch between 12th and 27th September, so we can all be together watching world class entertainment that we will bring to you, straight to your own home!
