  • Minutes of the previous meeting of the Finance, Governance & Estates Committee: To receive and adopt the minutes of the 25 May 2023 Finance, Governance & Estates Committee meeting.

4.         Adjournment for questions from the public: To consider adjourning the meeting in accordance with Standing Orders, to receive questions from members of the public. 

5.         Parish Council Financial Monitoring for Month 2 (May 2023): To note:

5.1          Payments of £54,558.55 (EX VAT).  This includes the payment for the Court Bushes car park tarmacking and line marking.

5.2          Receipts of £26,348.48 (VAT N/A).  This includes the Section 106 receipt from MSDC for the Court Bushes car park tarmacking and line marking.

5.3          Bank Reconciliations.

5.4          Balance Sheet.  

5.5          Nominal Ledger.

5.6          Income and Expenditure. 

5.7          The funds held in CCLA shares on 31 May 2023 (to be confirmed).

5.9          To consider the Cambridge & Counties Fixed Term Deposit that matures on 22 June 2023 and the renewal offer from the bank.

6.         Village Centre Financial Monitoring for Month 2 (May 2023): To note:

6.1          Payments of £1,271.70 (VAT N/A).

6.2          Receipts of £13,781.90 (VAT N/A).  This includes a receipt of £10,668.65 made in error which has been repaid on 1 June 2023.

6.3          Bank Reconciliations.

6.7          To note the Shawbrook Bank Account has now closed and £65, 145.85 has been repaid to the CAF Cash Current Account and moved to the CAF Gold, higher interest, savings account.

7.         Parish Action Plan:  To review the items for the Committee on the Parish Action Plan 2023/2024. 

8.         Sharepoint Folder for Councillors: To recommend a policy to Council for approval, for Councillors to have access to Sharepoint folders and files in Office 365, to make access to Council documents more professional and efficient.

9.         To note any further information items, correspondence received or requests.

9.1       To receive an update report from the Estates & Facilities Manager.

Protocol for filming and recording at public meetings:  The Council has a protocol for public filming, recording and photography at its meetings, which is available on the Council’s website or on request at the Parish Office.
